This machine is a great choice for making delicious coffee house style beverages in the comfort of your own home. First load the heavy-duty portafilter with your favorite freshly ground coffee. Once the portafilter is engaged, turn the control knob towards the cup symbol and the 15 bar pump produces rich espresso with a thick layer of crema. Then if you desire a cappuccino, turn the control knob to the steam symbol and the high pressure frother makes powerful steam to create beautifully frothed milk. Fabulous Crema
I bought this exact version to replace my old one, which lasted over two years--so, you get your money's worth! It is the lower end line of Jura espresso makers, but still manages to produce a wonderfull espresso! I can no longer order cappacino out, b/c it never comes close to as good as mine. The trick is to use good beans (I buy ground so as not to have to deal with cleaning a grinder)--I use Kimbo or Illy which make for a wonderful morning ritual. Highly recommend for a no fuss, no muss machine. Easy to use, clean, and easy to froth milk. I recommend using doule osmosis or distilled water to eliminate any build up, which will extend the life of this little baby. Enjoy!
