DEC 12 2026 6:00PM: Holiday Plates and Pairings with 3 Parks Wine Shop - Demonstration
Available in stock (26)
The holidays call for a table worth lingering over, and this year we’re setting one with an old friend. Sarah Pierre of 3 Parks Wine Shop returns to The Cook’s Warehouse to join Paul for an evening of festive cooking and thoughtful pours. Paul will guide you through an elegant five-course holiday menu while Sarah uncorks a selection of wines chosen to bring out the best in every bite, and explains why each pairing works.
Along the way, you’ll pick up the skills and confidence to host your own celebration this season. Learn how to fry crisp, golden fritters, build a balanced salad with sweet, salty, and bitter elements, coax a creamy risotto without constant fuss, and roast a leg of lamb to juicy, perfectly carved slices. Sarah will share the basics of pairing wine with food, including how acidity, richness, and sweetness interact, so you’ll leave knowing exactly what to pour for your own holiday guests.
What’s on the Menu:
- Root Vegetable Fritter with Crème Fraîche and Caviar: Crispy, golden fritters made from winter root vegetables, crowned with cool crème fraîche and a touch of caviar for a celebratory start.
- Endive, Pear, and Roquefort Salad with Candied Pecans: Crisp endive and ripe pear meet tangy Roquefort and crunchy candied pecans in a salad that balances sweet, savory, and just a little bitter.
- Ellijay Mushroom Farm Risotto: Creamy, slow-stirred risotto showcasing earthy mushrooms grown in the North Georgia mountains.
- Herb-Roasted Leg of Lamb with Salsa Verde and Crispy Potatoes: A show-stopping holiday centerpiece, fragrant with herbs and brightened with a vibrant salsa verde, served alongside potatoes roasted until shatteringly crisp.
- Dark Chocolate Pots de Crème: Silky, deeply chocolatey custards that make for a rich and elegant finale.
Come hungry and ready to raise a glass. You’ll taste every course alongside its wine pairing, making this the perfect way to kick off the season with friends, a date, or anyone on your list who loves good food and good wine. From North Georgia mushrooms to one of Atlanta’s favorite neighborhood wine shops, it’s a holiday celebration with a local heart.
