Mrs. Anderson’s Baking Extra-Fine Cheesecloth, 3 Square Yards

Extra-fine cheesecloth is useful for cooking, roasting, draining, straining, sieving, fermenting, cooking with herbs, and more.  It filters out seeds, skins, fibrous bulk, and lumps for everything from jellies to gravies, soups, yogurt, and broths.  It is also useful in canning to line a strainer or colander.  If you have extremely small bits, use multiple layers.  Cheesecloth is essential in cheesemaking and can be used to create a bouquet garni that is easily lifted from soups and stocks.  Make an herb infuser to flavor oil and vinegar, fill with mulling spices for mulled, the uses for  cheesecloth in the kitchen are endless.
