There is also a base inscription of each recommended grape variety. The diamond shape of this champagne glass allows a wide range of aromatics to unfold with the extreme angles offering more space to develop aromas. The wider bowl allows complex layers to grow and intensify more than a flute shape does. The larger rim diameter means they are released in a way not achieved with a narrow glass.
