The Encore ESP from Baratza is a new espresso-optimized coffee grinder that makes high-resolution grinding easier, and more consistent. Intuitive controls and the high-resolution grind range simplifies dialing in the perfect shot. The new multi-purpose adjustment mechanism features micro-steps from #1-20 for high resolution espresso grinding, and macro-steps from #21-40 for excellent filter/immersion brew method grinds. User friendly controls include a single-handed hopper twist for grind size adjustment, then either a push of the front-mounted pulse button, or a turn of the ON/OFF switch. The powerful, high torque DC motor drives the burrs slowly for cool, quieter operations, and allows long grinding duty cycles. It is also equipped with an automatically resetting, thermal cutoff switch. A 54mm dosing cup (and included 58mm adapter ring) allows you to transfer grounds directly into a portafilter with less mess and an even distribution that is ready to tamp. Fits more home espresso machine portafilter baskets. The hopper, burr holder, and cone burris are removed without additional tools for easy cleanup and maintenance. Graphics, outer shell and on-off switch have an updated look.
