Forged in Seki City, Japan, a region with over 800 years of blade-making heritage, our Limited Edition Kamagata Knife pairs centuries-old craft with modern versatility. Its blade is made from VG-10 stainless steel Damascus, folded into 66 layers for exceptional edge retention, strength, and a wave pattern unique to each knife. Finished with a rot-resistant Moabi Wood handle and an exclusive mosaic pin, the Kamagata is as striking as it is functional.
We designed the Kamagata to bridge the best of two essential Japanese knife shapes. The flat-edge profile makes quick work of vegetables, while the curved, pointed tip provides finesse for herbs, garnishes, and detailed cuts. Each knife comes with a handcrafted Magnolia Wood Saya to protect the blade and showcase it for years to come.
