This folding knife is perfect for gently opening oysters and shellfish, with a blunted blade with a sharp tip specifically for shucking oysters. The short, robust blade (2 ½” long and .08” thick) cuts only at the tip with a unique design that centers the knife’s axis to facilitate handling, and is made of Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel. The handle is made of hard varnished Padouk wood (New Guinea Rosewood) and resists humidity. With a Virobloc locking ring, it will stay open or closed when you need it to. Hand wash. Made in France.
