Ryda’s A-30 Series is designed for seasoned chefs and confident home cooks who desire precision and performance.  This series is tailored to the user who prefers a classic “pinch grip” - holding the blade just in front of the bolster for best control.  These knives are lightweight and exceptionally balanced, to avoid fatigue from long prep sessions.  The core of each blade is AUS-10 steel with high performance and the ability to hold a razor-sharp edge.  The steel is vacuum-treated and layered in a 3-ply construction with a 60 HRC hardness rating and a 15° double bevel edge.  Even with regular, rigorous use, these knives are easy to maintain and sharpen.  The handles are crafted from stabilized walnut wood, further strengthened through a vacuum treatment process.  The result is a beautiful, durable, moisture-resistant, and naturally contoured for a comfortable, confident grip.

The Nakiri knife is designed specifically for cutting vegetables.  It is distinguished by its straight edge, rectangular blade, and rounded tip.  Made for straight up and down chopping, it allows you to slice through ingredients in one smooth vertical cut, as opposed to pushing and pulling the knife - delivering even slices and clean cuts.
