Keep your brown sugar from hardening for 3-6 months with the Brown Sugar Saver. The high-fired terracotta clay is reusable and food safe. Soak it in water for 20 minutes, pat dry, and place in an airtight container with brown sugar, baked goods, breads, muffins, soft-baked cookies, marshmallows, and dried fruit to help them retain their softness. It will even re-soften already hardened sugar.
Use it dry to absorb excess moisture and retain crispness in crackers, pretzels, chips, nuts - also helps keep spices, salt, and flours from caking.
Rinse with clean water only, no soap.
Not recommended for microwave use, as terracotta may crack.
