Each piece of acaciaware by Pacific Merchants is hand turned from a solid piece of acacia hardwood and carved by local artisans - therefore each piece is unique. Acacia wood is a hardwood with a tight grain that is resistant to water penetration, stains, and odors. The food safe finish makes these pieces more durable and long-lasting than bamboo plates, or other glued and pieced-together wooden ware. These plates work well as chargers or appetizer trays.
