Step into the kitchen with intention and discover how cooking can become a powerful tool for calm, connection, and creativity. In this unique hands-on cooking class, Chef Naina Bhedwar—The Cook’s Warehouse’s own “Queen of Spices”—guides you through the practice of mindfulness in the kitchen, blending culinary technique with presence and purpose.
More than just a cooking class, Feed Your Peace explores how the act of preparing food can reduce stress, improve focus, and deepen your connection to what you eat and who you share it with. Drawing on both modern neuropsychology and ancient culinary traditions, Chef Naina will introduce simple, practical techniques to help you slow down, engage your senses, and transform everyday cooking into a meaningful ritual.
Whether you’re an experienced home cook or just getting started, this class is designed for anyone looking to bring more balance, creativity, and joy into their kitchen.
In this class, you’ll learn how to:
- Practice mindfulness before, during, and after cooking
- Use cooking as a tool for stress reduction and mental clarity
- Build awareness through flavor, texture, and aroma
- Prepare a nourishing, flavor-forward menu with intention
Menu:
- Babaghanuj – Smoky eggplant dip with olive oil, lemon, and warm spices
- Curried Chickpea Salad Wraps – Bright, spiced chickpeas wrapped with fresh vegetables and herbs
- Persian Bastani Sonnati (Saffron Ice Cream) – A fragrant, creamy dessert with saffron and pistachios
Leave with not only new recipes, but a renewed sense of presence—and a fresh perspective on how cooking can nourish both body and mind.
